Founded in 2007 EXCEL operates on the belief that children are the future of Sierra Leone. EXCEL has developed leadership and entrepreneurship programs geared specifically to helping the youth of Sierra Leone realize their ability to lead their country. As a Shine On Sierra Leone partner, EXCEL is best placed to work with the educators, students and the greater community in Bongema, Kono. To date EXCEL has worked with Shine On Sierra Leone to train the educators at Muddy Lotus as well as community health workers engaged in a unique post Ebola psycho social support programming.
