The Waves for Water team distributed and organized their clean water filters as well as repaired local wells and constructed water catchment systems so the locals of Kono, Africa and the children of the Muddy Lotus Elementary School have access to clean water. The W4W team worked in partnership with the Shine on Sierra Leone Foundation which has built the school and is currently expanding the facility to accommodate their secondary education. It was a heart warming and educational experience documented by James Mccutchen.
